Sophie is a beautiful two year old cat available for adoption. This sweet girl can be a little shy at first, but she is truly a sweetheart who would make a great addition to the right family. Sweet Sophie would do best in a home that has known feline friends previously, as she is a little overwhelmed at the shelter and would benefit from a loving and patient family that will help her feel comfortable and come out of her shell. If Sophie sounds like she would be a great match for you, come meet her today at the Bangor Humane Society. She’ll be waiting!
Just look at this handsome, regal boy. His name is Zero and he has the most gentle soul with a sweet temperament. His play style is also very gentle, so with that being said, he might do best in a home with older children or adults. He was brought to us as a stray, so there is no past history about his likes and dislike or what, if any, other animals he lived with. We suggest going slow and having patience if introducing him to any other pets in the home. Being a greyhound, Zero will do best with a fenced-in yard or a family that is willing to take him out on leash 3-4 times a day to relieve himself. He can top speeds of 40 miles per hour in three strides, and as such he cannot be tied outside to a runner or lead. But despite being the fastest dogs in the world, greyhounds are couch-potatoes that prefer a nice, comfy bed to sleep on. A huge love-bug, Zero has the potential to be a great family pet given time. If you think you can provide a home this sweet boy deserves, please stop by and ask to do a visit with him.
